tooth abscess. DDC, with a long experience in therapy, and through the use of the latest materials
and techniques, makes it possible for you not to feel any kind of discomfort or discomfort after the
treatment of the tooth. Teeth deserve care, make sure they are treated. Our clinic offers all
procedures for the therapeutic treatment of teeth. Quality materials, contemporary technology and
the professionalism of our doctors for a correct treatment for your teeth.
The therapeutic treatments we offer:
1. Fill cavities
2. Endodontic treatments
3. Crown reconstruction with screws and composites
Endodontics
Endodontics is responsible for treating the dental pulp (the tissue present inside the tooth, which
contains the nerve, blood vessels and soft connective tissue) and the tissues surrounding the tooth.
This treatment is also known as root canal treatment: the dentist removes the pulp, fills the inside
with a suitable filling material and seals the root with a thermoplastic rubber called gutta-percha.
Root canal treatment is necessary when the nerve tissue or pulp is inflamed or infected. If you do
not continue with endodontic treatment, the tooth will deteriorate, bring pain to the inflamed area
and even up to an abscess. The treatment is performed with local anesthesia, so the patient will not
feel anything.
When is root canal treatment necessary?
There are different symptoms that let you know when you need endodontic treatments:
• the formation of an abscess in the root of the tooth
• prolonged sensitivity to hot and cold substances
• severe, continuous pain or while chewing
• tooth extraction
When the dental pulp becomes infected, bacteria multiply in the pulp chamber and along with the
dying pulp, create an infection or an abscess, which is a pus-filled sac that forms at the root of the
tooth. If the infection progresses, the pain and swelling may spread to other parts of the face. After
the infection has been eliminated, thanks to the root canal treatment, the restored tooth will
develop chewing functions normally. However, it is important to take care of oral hygiene after an
endodontic treatment.
